Thread: Help With Turner & Cowlishaw

So here is a razor with heavy, uneven spine wear and the spine tapers from the pivot to the end. It is absolutely giving me fits. The blade rocks pretty good and I can't even get the heel of the face side to hit the stone.

I've tried 3 layers of tape, still no go.

But this is a pretty rare blade and a precursor to the Torrey brand razors so I want to get it right.

What are your suggestions?

That looks a lot like the one I have been working on...though yours is a for more interesting razor...

but I have nothing for you as far as suggestions go....I tried with mine what you have to no avail thus far.
