Thanked: 4Yes, I posted about this one yesterday as it was already in the silly money. Somebody is paying a lot for eschers. How many does one person need?

Thanked: 0Well, I hope it's a good hone for the buyer, if they plan on using it. Otherwise, they'll have a white elephant and more wisdom.

Thanked: 4They have already bought a number at around $300 and belgian coticules for fairly high prices ($180 for an average sized hone) from a quick look at the history so I guess they collect them. Nobody can use that many eschers.
Some nice straight razors as well.

A matter of more money than sense I suppose. Eschers going the same way as tulip bulbs in the 17th century in Holland,

That guy is buying these thing for only one reason. In a few years he'll be selling them on Eboy and laughing all the way to the bank.

Thanked: 9Um, yeah - and I usually have a positive attitude but in this case I'll suggest another scenario:
in a few years he's no longer with us and his kids sell his stuff off to a flea market and then you or your kids get an Escher for $2 lol
Cheers
