Thanked: 3215Depends on the damage and how you Kissed the edge. If you keep the spine on the strop at all times and stop, before you flip, it is impossible to cut the strop or kiss the edge.
Look at the edge with magnification, unless it is a large chip, a 12 or 8k should easily repair the damage and get the bevels to meet again.
All repair actions are dictated by the damage. When doing small repairs, start with the least aggressive and work backwards.
If your car stops running, you don’t automatically re-build the motor…
