Thread: Japanese Hone

yea, I know a few days ago there was this post about high end japanese Hones and I said I would never buy one because I didn't think it was worth the moo-la unless your a collector and guess what, my man in Japan sends me this link to a yahoo site in japan just full of hones and razors. He said to let him know and he would bid for me. So there it is an original Hone about 180mm x 60mm quarried well before WWll with authentication and pictures of the quarry and the guys who mined this thing. Imagine a hone with authentication. I couldn't resist I mean this is the real deal a primo stone. It should be on its way to me next week along with a couple old razors.

I remember reading that thread and thinking "that's a big-ticket hone". Good one, bigspendur, you must be pleased. I'd imagine it's a reasonably select group of people who own one of these. Definitely agree with Steve - post pics if possible.
