Here is one of mine that had both correction and 'standard' honing.
A few weeks ago, I started a honing session on a vintage tamahagane kamisori. This razor, by the look of it, had never been honed - the edge was very, very rounded, and the spine sides were not parallel with each other, or to the edge of the blade. There was no hone wear at all.
Correcting these deficits took me about three or so hours of intense effort(The tamahagane was extremely hard, and I didn't want to excessively wear the soft 'jigane')
After that, the actual bevel setting and honing to finish took less than 30 minutes
