    There are good Soviet razor and shave them comfortable, but some need to be corrected in the grinder. Often broken geometry of the blade.

    I thought TI used Sheffield Steel.

    Highly unlikely unless those steels were made as early as the 1700's.
    More commonly iron ores were exported from mines like Dannemora & then turned into cast/blister/shear steel at destination.
