    Default Faux Frameback

Any special considerations needed for honing a frameback?

On your faux frameback, no. Hone it as you would any other straight, tape- no tape, your choice depending on bevel angle, cosmetic concerns etc.
If it was a genuine frameback then a layer of tape is recommended as the spine material on those tends to be softer than the rest of the blade. This can cause excessive spine wear if not taped.

I just treat my two false framebacks (4/8 and 5/8 Klas Tornbloms) as i do with my full hollows. Taped spines and no pressure.

I don't see where that shoulderless grind is any sort of a 'frameback', TBH.
Seems a normal razor to me?

The first thing you will need is a frameback razor sorry Dave, I couldn't resist. On a serious note, as Tom says, it looks like a normal razor to me.

Sorry, Dave! Faux frameback on top. Frameback on bottom!

Hmmmm... good to know. I didn't learned this way first time.
I tought these last pictured razors were both framebacks... a rattler (top one), and an integral frame (bottom), and faux framebacks as one piece bladed ones hollowed to the point to get a sharp transition between the spine and the leaf of the blade, as this: http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ll-custom.html
