Interesting that I came across this, as I was just about to post about how I don't like the edge off a coticule. For my shaving and technique I much prefer the edge of a 12 k Naniwa followed by some pasted stropping on .5 diamond and cromium oxide.
Keep posting your results, I like to see what others think and prefer

I have results.
20 laps on translucent Arkansas did not retouched the razor's edge. Too little effort. It is, by far, my slowest stone.
20 laps on chineses 12k: better than trans Ark, but not perfect. I like the edge it raises. Pretty smooth.
20 laps on schwedenstein. The better resultado I have in this experimental. Razor brought to life again. Smooth. Great shave.
20 laps on coti. No slurry, just plain tap water. Nice edge. Not as good as schwedenstein, but a nice shave happened.
Let's see with 50 laps, next time.
