A NOS vintage Wonderedge never seen the hones, bevel set on Ol' Sloppy, no tape.

Pushing the edge envelope, the Wonderedge will support the final edge. Shave WTG & ATG test positive.

It's not a Escher as a Escher is a labeled thuringian, no label, no Escher...however your stone really looks like a thuringian. Does it easily raise a slurry? Have a pic of the stone with slurry?
