Restored, polished & honed. Both Maru San but still hard as all get out. Sooo many hours hand sanding.

Here's some finger stone polishing, and polishing. Thanks Steve beautiful looking stone. An "edge vanishing" is actually an accurate description. Good observation sir.

It's a treat to hone one which has never been honed before! Teeny, even bevels are SWEET!
I usually never bother with the Escher on American hard steel, but will make an exception for this Genco.
