Today I did some work on my "Baxters Base Camp X" Razor.

Feel free to laugh at the scales They are Tennessee Hickory , super light weight, like balsa.

Firstly I took my Dremel and rounded out the heel area because it was spurred.
Most Harts get heel issues unless you look hone them with real attention from the off.
This one I've had a few years and was honing it when my skills weren't really up to the task .

After grinding the heel down I used the Chosera 1K to bring the bevel into line , also the tip was quite smiley .
When I was satisfied that the whole edge was on touching the stone I killed it and moved to the Shapton's.

I'm really enjoying my switch back to the Shapton's. I went 1/4/8/16k.

Then onto my new vintage Escher.
25 strokes with a slurry and then 50 with water.

I don't know what I'm doing with the Escher, its just trial and error .

The edge pops hairs wickedly . I pray it gives me a next level shave . I will have to wait a few days for hair growth..
Thanks for reading...
