I did , 1/5/10k Chosera / 16k Shapton Glass / Blue Green Escher (60 laps with slurry + 50 laps with water)

I used the scope to keep an eye on the westy and took the odd picture but after the Escher I noticed what looked like , me missing the very edge , so I added a layer of thin electrical tape to the thick layer I always use.
This had no effect .
The very edge was showing a micro bevel , if you will, caused by the Escher.
Why the Escher had not hit the whole bevel is beyond me...

Besides the addition of the tape, your still a couple hundred or so passes short...for an Escher, IMHO

Have used Thuri's for awhile now, and just used the Escher yesterday. Watching in a 40× loupe, it took well over 200 passes ( slurry-water ) to remove what the Coti created.
