Thread: Hone of the Day

NOS Henkotsu kami and the first real test of the new Karasu. I set the bevel on Botan on the Suita, then made sloppy mid-range progress on Suita's own slurry (this stone can actually finish quite nicely, which I did NOT want). I wanted to do my pre-polishing on Mejiro on the Karasu and finish on tomo, to get the feel for the power of this pretty stone. Very happy with the result so far, nice shave in 3 unnecessary passes (you all know the feeling, when you just can't stop scraping your face with that new razor).[emoji12]
