    Default An amazing Jnat

Razor: A very old wedge in excellent shape. The makers mark is not legible but i think it says “Warranted”. No other maker mark found.

    Bevel set: Chosera 1k

Finish: a beautiful Ozuko Jnat that is very hard, fine, and fast bought from Japan in a store called Morihei which is a high end tool and natural stone shop in Tokyo. Once learned, a very easy and quick stone with feedback that makes me want to pull it out and hone on it.

Photo bomb: Mastro De Paja “2 Suns” custom made for me by the owner Alberto Montini and of course, the iconic Zippo. Name: 26110E8C-DF32-49BC-9E2F-150A58053F6E.jpg

Which is no easy feat, since they don’t ship overseas (as far as I know)! A great looking stone Toro

I hone almost everyday, something. A touch up, a full job-bevel on up, sometimes a restoration. It is always challenging and fun but once in a while it ALL comes together and it is something special. I hope the shave tomorrow is as good.

    Default Another Jnat

    Razor: Worcester Razor “edge” 5/8+

    Bevel Set: Chosera 1k

Finish: A surprisingly capable little Asagi with a cool “Kan” pattern with some blue color mixed in. Perfect size for hand honing. It feels “soft” while honing but it is very fast and fine. It doesn’t have the pedigree of the Ozuku from Morihei shop but the proof is in the pudding and it cleaned up 1k scratches with a slurry in just minutes then diluting down to CW for the finish with an amazing HHT result.

Photo bomb: The all American Zippo and an Edwards pipe with oil cured Algerian briar.

Mark, I promised a buyer I had lined up a long time ago, I just needed a few months of using and owning the razor, now is the right time for someone else to enjoy the razor, strange thing a few of the razors that I do sell I rarely see them again on shaving forums, haven't seen the pair of Mappin & Webb I sold a while ago, they must go to collectors?
