Thread: Hone of the Day

Honed up one of my Heljestrand MK 31 razors.

Naniwa Professional 1K -> 3K -> 5K
Then onto the BBW dry, then Coti dry

Finish with 1 layer of tape on a La Grise Coticule on water with the lightest pressure possible.

Shave was amazing, very keen, but super smooth. I'm actually surprised by how keen it is and how easily it shaved.

After trying many different finishers I've found my favorite one and got them to work for me (after many trials and errors)

I'm thinking about finishing each razor of my 7-day set of MK 31s on a different Coticule.
I enjoy them that much and my skin tolerates these stones very well. I dig, I dig.
