    Default My new Escher

She came in today from abroad. A beautiful blue/green Escher, freshly lapped and softened on the edges, ready to work! She is 7.875"X1.8125"X0.8125". What a hottie!

Is that the one I bid on as well from ebay.de? Looks like you cleaned her up more than a bit! The pictures I was sent showed quite some scratches!

    Great stone!

    Default She's a beauty!

    Rich,
That's a beautiful stone! Is the background of that picture a bed sheet?

    Default It's a quilt

Howard, Kees, I'm glad that you like the stone. Howard, the backround is a quilt on my bed. I do most of my photography in my bedroom since my computer is there. I lapped the stone on a DMT coarse Diamond hone that I got from you, Howard. Then I put a slight radius on the edges using the same Diamond hone a la Tony Miller and voila, a reborn Escher!
