    Default 3 layers to 0 layers

    My Dovo I honed yesterday I ended up with 3 layers due to setting the original bevel on 2 and then added one to finish. Today I said no way in hell am I going to add 3 layers of tape to touch it up when I need it.

    I dullled the edge on glass so it wasn't shaving arm hair. Looked around my bathroom and spotted a swaty. So I started honing and ended up with an edge that could shave arm hair cleanly. Took about 15 minutes. I then proceeded to dull the edge again because it felt torn up on the thumb nail. Didn't take it any further today.

    My main question here, will I be okay? I believe the bevel is set, or is 3-0 layers a massive jump. The two layers of tape weren't there because I needed them.
