Thanked: 104New Hone - Seven Heaven
A u-tube video posted yesterday of a silent video introducing a 'Seven'' Heaven" dark stone with a slurry stone of similar property. I know nothing of it, can't find any info on this. Go to U tube see the video of a person using slurry on a blackish slate looking what I think they are using it as you would a jnat. Information Gents? posted by a cryptic name 'aljuwaiedak' video looks normal, is this genuine?

There is a member here by that same name-"aljuwaiedak"
I couldn't find the video on YouTube but I wonder if this is the one about a Greek hone I saw not long ago? Vermio or something like that.Last edited by Steel; 12-03-2015 at 12:01 PM.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

Thanked: 104After re-visiting the video, it's correct U tube title is 'Try honing on the new Seven Heaven razor hone' The opening scene is of a hand hold what looks like an eight inch long by 2 inch wide hone with a sticker on it's reverse side saying 'By Bushdoctor'. Then a Puma razor is honed with a slurry stone. There was one mention in the following entries below the video, where the name I put up has opened the video, of something 'Greek'.. I'd urge a few members to have a look at this, site is only now 3 days old.
Cheers Bob

Thanked: 104Thanks for that mate, I hope my post didn't portray Aljuwaiedak in the wrong way, it wasn't my intention. To see the video see my last post and type it word perfect into the U tube search engine. I asked about it, mainly as it seemed a 'natural stone'. The video is silent without notation and the person honing the Puma razor (Mint condition) has exceptional honing skill/technique. When I 1st saw that the post; it was only 2 days old. And a video like that without any explanation/fanfare etc, made me cast my mind to the Imperia LR and the like. So, as I said, I meant no harm, I actually look forward to seeing a bit more about it, severe curiosity due to HAD.
Cheers gentlemen, Bob)

Thanked: 98No you didn't portray the Gent in a wrong way Bobski, I just posted what I know of him. I believe he had at one time found a large stash of NOS razors in his country and many a member here and elsewhere bought some of those razors, probably at fair prices.

For more information about this stone "seven heaven" you can write directly to Bushdoctor

It is an excellent stone to finish, comparable to a gray-blue Escher.
Personally I use it with very good results both on hollow and wedge blades."The trip is short. We try to do it in the first class." (Noiret)
