Thanked: 0Seeking South Texas mentor
Hey gents,
I am a long time shaver, but new to the honing game. I bought a set of Naniwa superstones and am wondering if there are any mentors available in the South Texas area. I am currently in San Antonio. I dropped an email to Ken Rupkalvis, but haven't heard back quite yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
J

Also contact Sharptonn in Houston. Very knowledgeable.

I'm not exactly sure what part of Texas he lives in but you might also check with Larry at Whipped Dog Straight Razor Shaving Equipment, a heck of a nice guy to deal with or talk to on the phone. Check out his web site and give him a call.

Thanked: 0Thanks a ton, gents. I am reaching out to these guys. I know it may take a bit longer for responses, due to the holidays.
Is there a South/East Texas meetup like the North Texas one? It looks fantastic.

Thanked: 3795Nothing will be like that one; and many of us will be traveling distances even greater than the distance across Texas.
