Thanked: 8Honing mentors in vt
Hi guys, I just wanted to reach out and see if there were, by any chance, any members that are honing aficionados, that live in Vermont, or close by?
I'm pretty new at honing and want to learn everything I can. I have all my own stones and equipment and have honed all the razors I own, but I'm never really sure of I'm getting them to the level of smoothness that they could potentially go to under the right guidance.
Ultrasound gave me done really great honing lessons through pm, and I was able to get better edges than previous, but there's no replacing an in person lesson.

Whereabouts are you? I regularly visit friends and family in the WRJ and St. Johnsbury areas and would be happy to hook up with you next time I'm up. I also have people to visit in Brattleboro, Rutland, Barre, Montpelier, Woodstock, and Waitsfield.

Yep, know exactly where it is. I'm from Littleton, NH and spent a lot of my childhood on the family farm in Ryegate Center and at my uncles place on Harvey's Lake in West Barnet. I just moved down here 3 years ago to help look after my wife's folks so am pretty new the area.
