Glad I'm not the only one that does this, for a while there I thought I was crazy lol. I picked it up while reading about barber hones, and started employing it with my naturals. I've been rather pleased with the results.

Well sounds a great excuse to buy more soap and another shaving brush - as I can claim them as "honing equipment".

I believe that some barbers used to know their coticules as soap stones because they only used them with lather for touch ups. Don't quote me, can't remember where I read that.
