Thanked: 1Proud of myself.
I made a previous post about having inconsistencies in my honing abilities. Just got shaving with a freshly honed blade and wow the advise I got helped immensly.
Things I changed were
1. Took my time.
2. Used TPT along whole edge to ensure bevel was properly set.
3. My lowest grit stone is a 3k so I used a flattening stone to create a slurry which I think helped set the bevel.
4. Taped the spine because razor had some uneven hone wear in the middle.
Just appreciate the help I received thanks

What's so much fun about this is that every razor, especially the antique ones, has got something to teach you. You'll never stop having to figue them out. Sounds like your off to a great start.
Congratulations!
