    I have put a bit of thought into the progression.
    1k =ship removal
    5k= bevel setter
    Pre finisher
    Finisher

    Essentially I don't try to muck about with slurry or naguras. Keeping it simple
    The 1k will remove chips and set your bevel. The 5 k will polish and refine your edge. After that you can use any finishing stone really . I don't see the point of a prefinisher, but that's just me.

    I thought the Gotogi was your 5th stone in your progression.

    Default Mystery stone in progression

    Ok.

    Here is some photos of my current setup.

    1k

    5k

    Prefinisher

    Finisher. Either I haven't set the bevel right or a foil edge developed.

    Thoughts and opinions welcome.

    from the pics, it looks like you need to spend more timeon the 6k and the prefinisher.
    Is the 6k a King?

    Second shave update.

    Little tugging. But no rash or issues post shave. Could be the few days of growth I had.

    Will put it under the microscope when I get home tonight. See how the edge held up.
