    Default DMT Cards For Slurry

    Hey There,
Not sure if this is the best place to put this thread, so change it if there is a better place.

Some guys might use a DMT card to slurry their hones or they might do like I do and use the DMT cards to touch up their EDC knives. I carry a DMT 600 in my wallet to touch up my EDC knife if it needs it & I am away from my hones.

I put a rubber tractor tube backing on the card, held by 3M-5200. I can slurry much easier as my fingers don't slide around on the back of the card during slurry.

But mainly I use the rubber backing to hold the card still on a counter or table top. I can lay the card on a smooth surface, it stays put as I work the knife.

    Just a thought,,,

Great idea. I have a blue rubberish mat that came with one of my DMTs that could work.

Very cool idea! Sometimes one needs to think out of the box which is how a lot of us in this sport solve a problem then unselfishly share with the rest of us. Thank you!

Nice piece of engineering. The card gets real slippery when its wet. I'm on it. Thanks.
