    Default Lesson learned!

Hello gents, just wanted to post a lesson in learned the hard way.
I stroped my razor with the white semi coarse/rough strop with iron oxide paste.0.1 Afterwards I started shaving. I forgot to pass it on the strop to smooth it out. IT GAVE ME THE WORSE RAZOR RASH!!

What are you stropping on, rough leather like the rough side of a strop? And where did you get the Iron Oxide, and are you sure it is .10um?

Iron Oxide should have left a nice edge, depending on how it was when you started.

To experiment with paste, a flat clean piece of cardboard (inside of a cereal box) is a great substrate, and if it does not work out, you are not out anything.

Welcome there is much written on paste, particularly the Kremer Pigments that are excellent, do an advanced search for Kremer Pigments, they are inexpensive also.
