Thread: Little Devil from Tilly

I just received the Little Devil barber's hone that I ordered from Tilly. The instructions that she put in with the stone state that it is great for lapping other hones; actually the reason that I made the purchase. My question to you all knowledgeable honers out there, is - is the Little Devil safe to hone razors with or should I simply use it for lapping?

It is my understanding that this is actually a coarser stone than most, am I correct?

iirc- a member suzuki really likes barber hones and i think he mentioned in a post that he really likes the little devil. you might pm him with a question or two. the frictionite from tilly was able to get an ebay find to pop hairs.

Thanks, I will send him an email. I picked up Barber Jr hone from eBay that the Little Devil will lap. Thought there might be another use for it as well.
