    Default Feeling accomplished

I finished three blades from my to do pile, rescales and clean up.
I went to hone them and two were pretty wonky.
The M. George and son is not only twisted bit the spine has an uneven grind. I had to rock it on one side to hone the heel and balance it on the toe half on the other side to get and even hone. Test shave was good, not amazing but ok for now. A few more laps on the coti should bring it around.

The Mappin and Webb is a bit warped. It needed pressure further toward the edge to flatten it against the stones. Nice smooth test shave though.
These are my biggest challenges to date.
I learned the value of inking the edge so you can tell how things are hitting.
I also learned to respect my Norton's a bit more. I still feel more confidence in the coti after the 4k but I think the 8k is useable. I just need to lighten the pressure more.
I'm pretty happy with my 7/8 W&B. A few laps on the 4k and then the coti sweetened the edge nicely.

    Cheers.
