What an offer! Buying the sandpaper alone is $8.00 (I know personally)
Thanks Josh!

Okay, I've scrounged up some bubblewrap and stuff, so I'm planning on sending Josh my barber hones for his treatment. I figure, hang the expense, I'll just switch to cheap beer for a while. Actually, scratch that idea, I HATE cheap beer. Well, it'll all work out.

Denis and I are really going to put my little proposal to the test here... We'll see if I live to regret it.

My thanks to Josh for undertaking the labor! I now have four freshly-lapped barber hones to try out. If only I could crack the stubborn secrets of honing, I might actually be able to test them... Well, all things in due course, hopefully!

Your off to the right start Flat hones...
Your best bet is to just dive right in and do it. It takes a few attempts to get the right feel, but once there you'll be happy

I have seriously ripped biceps now...
I don't think I'll be offering this service on a regular basis. It was a fun experiment, but I didn't like how long it's taking me to turn the hones around. I can only lap for so long before the arm needs a break...
It was a fun experiment, though.
