The DMT 120 arrived today, and so far I have one thing to say: THIS THING EATS HONES FOR LUNCH!

I love it. I had been lapping a carborundum on my DMT 325, and I'd spent about an hour on it. It was getting there, but it was still hollowed out in the middle.

Three minutes on this monster and it was flat as could be. And with no pressure.

I'm working on an Arkansas now, which I've spent two or three hours on already. After about 10 minutes, I'm almost done with one side.

So the barber hone lapping service is officially back.

Before anyone rushes out and buys this: I'd only recommend it if you have a serious case of hone acquisition disorder. I paid $70 for it, and it doesn't have any other practical uses for razors. I still plan to finish the surface on my 325, because the 120 leaves some scratches.

Anybody have some hones you'd like lapped?
