Gave it a try. And Again, No good! Shaving with just 1K and strops just dont work for me! Yes, It does cut whiskers but pulls and wont shave down smooth. Its like it only cuts the length of the whiskers half way to the skin. Maybe in another 6 months I'll give this a go again. BTW, I used a Barney- Cavanagh HDWE Co extra hollow, 9/16 square point razor. After this failure, I took it all the way to the 12K in progression and it feels great now. Will post up some pics in another thread.
