Thanked: 3228It is a cosmetic issue as the razor shaves OK. I have a few razors with that cosmetic issue that shave as well as others that do not have that issue.
If it had of been me and I was bothered by uneven bevels I would have passed on the razor as that was clearly visible in the sellers photos. Sorry to be so blunt but there it is.

It wasn't a criticism of the seller nor is this the first razor I've bought with perceived issues I don't mind taking on a challenge it's how you learn. If you don't have anything constructive to say don't waste my time or yours. "sorry" to be blunt but there it is.

I love a nice symmetrical spine/bevel but some of my best shavers have 'uneven' bevels.
Glen's videos will show you the best way to hone it without removing too much steel. Kamis require a different tactic that symmetrical western razors.
I would leave it as-is and enjoy it.

Thanked: 3228[QUOTE=huckelberryhound22;1743689]No problem. Just re enforcing what all the other posters had said about it being a cosmetic issue wrt shaving qualities. That was the constructive part. The other part was curiosity wrt buying a razor with a condition that would bother you. The answer, from your reply, is you wanted a challenge. Fair enough.
