Roger that. Here's the download page:

You can shorten the pyramid by removing the steps with many laps on the 4k and lengthen it by adding more 4k laps. Slightly different finishes can also be employed; either 1/5 or 1/3 combinations.

Each razor is unique and will require different treatments to achieve shaving sharp. Start with the standard pyramid or something very close to it and be consistent.

    Is that clearer?

Don't know what to do with the given link. I can't find anything on pyramids in there!
However, I got the general idea about the pyramid numbers that confused me, so, thanks for that. I already used them and . . . have my razor back in shape

Change the orientation of the stone or add a touch of pressure, evenly. You may find standing over the top of the stone helps initially too. You can very gently place a finger on the tip to hold it down and remove it later.

I am just beginning honing and do not know what the problem is and how I should fix it.

Personally I did some honing again which I have not done since April (though I was not using the razors all the time since then), but they shaved amazing last night. Felt soo good, and I also felt happy as it was something I did with my grandpa before he passed away.

It was some relaxing time to just sit and think about him and know that I had shared that with him as we talked about what he did when he was younger.

Tried the one razor last night, shaved like a DREAM. can't wait for the other one.
