Default slurry stone used on non slurry type stones

Has any one used a slurry stone on say a black Arkansas? Since they are so hard and have no slurry of their own I was wondering if they could be used with a progression of different grits of slurry stones and finish with just water?

Yes, it's been done, you may want to do a sea ch, but the ark boys have been very passionate about these stones so we got lots of posts I,m sure you will find some input. Personally can't help I got rid of my arks. Tc
