    Yes the DMT stones are best used to flatten the belgian stones. A lot of ppl like the 8" x 3" D8C Continuous (coarse 325 grit) stone

    Definately the Course 325 grit. That is what Howard uses to lap and chanfer all the stones before he sends them. The good news is that you can also use it to lap and clean your Norton. It leaves a much smoother surface than the Norton Flattening Stone.
