Has anyone in Phoenix used Razor Emporium to have their straights has honed?

I don't know if it is still the case, but they used to use a guy who started out here as a 23 year old beginner who after a few months claimed "decades" of experience and "thousands" of razors honed so I'll let you draw your own conclusion.

They are not what I would call reliable, we have much better persons here who can do it right. So take this advise. Tc

Alschepis, I've always had good experiences with the gentlemen here on SRP. I've had two blades honed by gssixgun (along with other work) and just recently sent one to Utopian for honing.

I won't say my first SR related deal with someone on another forum was bad, but it left a lot to be desired.

My first razor was a Gold Dollar 800 that I got "shave ready" from WSP. Lee did a great job honing the razor.
