Pike Hone, Any Info?
I keep seeing these on the bay. They look like they might have been a series, with different colors? I picked a red one up and it's about 6x2 with the old round Pike logo stamped in the top (like a Swaty).
It's pretty smooth. Any idea of grit size? Any success with these (others in the series)? Any information about these (is it a barber hone, etc.)?

I have two old Pike hones in my collection . One has the round logo with the big "P" with a fish going through it , I can't find it right now , but I believe mine is black . The other one has a rectangular logo that has SWATY , in large letters and the Pike logo on the left , before the SWATY and is light brown in color . I don't know what grit they are , I only collect old razor hones . For honing my razors , I use a Norton 4k/8k , which works fine for me .
