This is a very good finishing hone for the price. I use it frequently with excellent results. I believe you will like the 12k. Enjoy.

The 12K waterstone is awesome, I lapped it and finished of a couple of str8s on it.
The stone did a wonderful job with those. I am truly surprised the awesome smooth edge one can get with these stones.
I am really happy with the purchase
