Thanked: 0Thank you, I'll get some for the next time. For now I tried with one cheap sheet I had and it worked really well Now my razor is sharp again, it did passed the hanging hair test, although with considerably effort.
Honestly I can shave with it very well, it does cut nice and easy. There is any point in trying to get it even sharper? Despite my efforts, I never got much further than this in the past and I'm not one of those trying to get into atomic scale, I just want to enjoy it and have a good shave. But maybe I'm missing something, because when I had it professionally honed to extreme sharpness by Ralf, I did not had the good shaving technique to appreciate it.

It's all up to you. Some of us like the keenest edge we can make. Others are more into comfort. Comfort is not as sharp as the keenest edge but is easier on the skin and feels nicer. So it's up to you on how sharp you want your razor. I have for the last year been working on getting/finding that sharpest edge I can make. But now in the last few months, I've found where comfort comes to play and I'm working on learning how to fine tune my honing for more comfort.
Now, only you know how sharp your edge is so its hard for someone over the web to tell you if you can do better or not. But unless you have been honing for a while, your most likely not getting as good of an edge as you can. It takes time and many months and some times years before you learn to hone fully. So if it's good enough for you, for now, go with it. You can always send it out if you feel it needs more. It's just Sharpening, right?
