Default Summary of Hones and Abrasives

Lee Valley has reformatted their catalogue of hones and sharpening abrasives into a much more coherent summary. They also include a downloadable table summarizing grits and applications for all the related materials they sell.

Thought it might be useful as a reference for members of SRP who might not have accessed the Lee Valley resources in the past.

Thanks for the link. I note that they list a black hard Arkansas at around 4000x and that the translucent Arkansas, which they discuss in the oil stone section, is not rated on the list.
