Thanked: 0Yep, they're for knives and woodworking tools. His prices for the Norton stone is cheaper than what you'd find on a woodworking site, though.

You talk about getting razors rescaled with custom scales, and buying silvertip brushes, then surely you can find that extra $50 for a good hone?

yeah, i CAN... but razors and brushes sit on the shelf, and are proudly displayed, and are used more often... know what i mean? ive got no problem buying a norton one day, was just seeing if these can be used as an alternative... you know?

Fair enough
You could always get a display case for the hone

thats when a mans obsession with shaving officially goes off the deep end... LOL displaying your hone... lol wow... well, my "shave den" is barely big enough to hold what i got on it... (some witch hazel, a few aftershaves, a few canned creams (for when i shave my head) 2 razors, 3 brushes, a crapload of soaps/creams, and a bowl) if i put a norton 4/8 in there, id lose half of what i just named lol one thing i DO like about the norton, is that it comes with a "workstation" so to speak... for using the razor, and it holds it and keeps debris and other funk off it... rather than just a stone that sits around waiting for peril to strike..
