    Default Lap wet or dry?

Should I lap norton stones wet or dry? If wet, should I soak both stones?

Also, it seem that the Norton flattening stone is very coarse. Will this have any effect on the grit of the 4000/8000 stone?

    Default

Soak them both. I also lap under running water to help clear the residue. I've never had a problem with the surface left by the lapping stone on a Norton, but for my finer natural stones, i like to give them quick pass on some 800 or so grit wet/dry sandpaper after the NLS.
