    Default Rounded Edges in hone

I have one doubts. When it is obtained a new stone recommends rounded the edges. My stones have a chamfer to 45º in the edges the stone. This good? or there is rounded without angle?

    Thank for your help

I think most guys say to take off the sharp edges. No corners.

I grind my corners off at 45 degrees as well. I don't worry about rounding, more fiddling with than I care to do at the moment.

The 45 degree angle only helps protect the stone from chipping in case you hit it's edges against something. The remaining hard edges can still chip your razor, hence the need to slightly round the edge. The rounding protects both stone AND razor.
