    Default It must be me?

    I have a Norton 4k/8k and a pasted paddle strop.
    I am trying to hone a Dovo 5/8 hollow ground.
    The razor condition before the honing wouldnt past the HHT and
    only took a few hairs off my arm.
    I proceeded with the pryamid but it seems I cannot get this razor sharp.

    Should I keep going on the pryamids?

    I don't know how many strokes you are using, but I would try a couple 1-3 and 1-5's on the Norton followed by 10 strokes on the finishing paste. If better but not there, try 5 strokes on the 8K and then the finishing paste.
