    Looks like it could be, Estoncio. The little veiny irregularities to the right-hand side of the stone make me think yes. But it's hard to tell for sure. A close-up picture would help, or one slightly from the side.

    I would absolutely not assume that it is a coticule just because it has a similar color. As far as I am concerned, if you are thinking of spending a lot of money on it then the burden of proof lies with the seller.

    I second David here: If this is a seller's pic, I would assume nothing. If the seller won't give you any more pics, I wouldn't buy it.

    I had thought this was your picture of a thrift-store find.
