    New puzzlement:

    How much pressure do you apply when using a pasted leather paddle strop for edge finishing? Strop like pressure or finishing hone like pressure: the I can feel it on the strop vs the float it, phantom fingers, anti-gravity pressure that is advocated for the final strokes on the last hone?
