Would this be the Dovo green paste? I'm not sure it would help much after a coticule. Maybe think about chromium oxide or diamond paste if you want more polishing. A lot of people shave straight from the coticule and find it no problem though.

Ok, I'm not familiar with this paste, but if it is that fine then it should help improve the edge a bit.
With my coticule I only use it without slurry as I use it to just touch up razors that are already fairly sharp. About 20 is my usual count on an average razor. then I follow with 15 strokes on .5 diamond paste, although the Maestro Livi may require more or less than this(diamond cuts fast, so I wouldn't advise too many laps on it as it can overhone the edge.)
It might take you a while to figure out what works for each razor and how fast each stone and paste works. Is the razor your only one? If so I would recommend getting a cheap one to practise on first, then you can transfer your skills to the nicer one.
    Hope it helps
