    Default Are these any good?

G'day I'm looking for a final polishing stone and are new to all this. I have the Norton 4000/8000 and seem to be going all right. Are any on this web page what I'm looking for eg 1200 etc.

If you are looking for a 1000-1200 grit then simply use 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Cut it to fit on top of your Norton hone, wet the sandpaper, place it on top of the hone and your ready to go.
Some people will direct you to DMT diamond hones. They are good but sandpaper is a much less expensive method and still very effective.
I do not think that any of the hones you linked to are suitable for removing nicks or old oxidised edges.

    Just my two cents,
