Thanked: 108Arkansas translucent. Some guys like this for a finishing hone; I've never tried it.

Thanked: 108As I understand it the black and translucent are similar in grit, with the translucent a little finer. But I am absolutely not an authority on these. There are a few authorities on these on SRP, and I'm sure they'll chime in.
