Hey fellas, I know there are a few good places that sell the Norton 4k/8k, but can anyone recommend some places for finishing hones? I've found one site that sells the Spyderco and Kitayama, Axminster, but just wondered if there were any others people would recommend...

I too will be watching with interest!

All I can find are the usual UK rip off prices for sub standard stones. Damn this strong pound at the mo!
Is runing the economy just so I can get some cheaper purchases too much to ask

Most of my finishing stones were purchased from Belgium .. Apart from my Spyderco , got that from Axmintser.co.uk ..
The rest of them ( barber hones .. TOS, Escher ,Thuringan were from the good 'ol US or Poland ) .

    I got mine from http://www.rutlands.co.uk
and there's a sale on at the minute, so I thought the price was very good. a fiver for delivery though.
Just waiting on my DMT to come from http://www.shop4lessuk.com so I can lap it and start honing.

Doh, I misread your post. Thought you were looking for a Norton, but the second site does sell the spyderco medium, fine and the ultrafine in both 2" and 3" wide models. Delivery does take over a week though, as it states on the site.
