Default Nortons on sale at Woodcraft

4000/8000 is $69.99. Don't know how that compares to others, but it's regularly $84.99, according to the catalog I just got today.

I guess your sale price is only good for those who received the catalog in the mail.

I spoke to customer service and referenced the item number on their online catalog. The rep said they did not have a sale price for the 4000/8000 combination water stone of $69.99.

The best they could do was a 10% off sale price for all their items starting in March, but that only brings it down to $76.50.

    Damn, damn, damn,.....poop!

Shipping from him brings it up past Woodcraft's price though. As long as there is a store near you.

It doesn't say anything in the catalog about any restrictions on the price. Did they ask for a catalog code or anything? It does say on the front of the catalog that the prices are good Feb. 27-March 31 (didn't notice that earlier). The catalog number for the stone is 818264. Maybe you can order by phone after the 27th for the better price.
